From the project “Sweet William and Ichiko Aoba,” the long-awaited release Karabahi to Amaneki has arrived.

In the summer of 2018, the sudden appearance of the collaboration single Karabahi—a joint work between beatmaker Sweet William and singer-songwriter Ichiko Aoba—immediately drew attention. With Sweet William’s organic yet tight and minimal beat intertwined with Aoba’s ethereal vocals and mystical lyrics, the track quickly became a beloved classic among listeners.

After constant requests for a follow-up, the duo returned a year and a half later with Amaneki in the winter of 2019. Built on Sweet William’s warm, richly textured beats and Aoba’s clear, translucent voice, the song weaves everyday life and dreamlike imagery into a beautifully experimental soundscape.

This vinyl release, Karabahi to Amaneki, marks the first physical edition of both songs—previously available only online—and includes their instrumental versions.
