This exclusive 12-inch analog single of “Machimonogatari” is one of the rarest Tatsuro Yamashita releases ever produced. Issued only as the A-Prize in the “Tatsuro Yamashita Otakarakuji – 35th Anniversary Lottery,” this special edition was limited to just 100 copies worldwide and never sold in stores. Only winners from the first pressing of the Machimonogatari CD single (released June 2, 2010) received this vinyl, making it an exceptional collector’s prize.
Released as Yamashita’s 46th single on June 2, 2010, Machimonogatari quickly became known for its nostalgic melodies, rich arrangement, and signature City Pop warmth. While the CD single was widely available, this 12-inch vinyl version was never commercially released, making it significantly more valuable and collectible.
