Less than six months after their 1st EP, KOIAI is already set to release their 2nd EP!
Compared to their debut, this new release marks an evolution toward a harder-edged sound. All tracks on this EP are written and composed by the band members themselves.

M-1. “Inside”

A dark and heavy song that perfectly represents the tone of this release. Despite its intensity, it still retains KOIAI’s signature pop sensibility and beautiful melodies.

M-2. “One Way or Another”

The most catchy track on the 2nd EP. It blends the essence of 1970s–80s rock with the flavor of J-POP. Once you hear it, it’ll stick in your head — highly addictive.

M-3. “Straight To My Heart”

A track combining a relaxed, R&B-style melody with progressive guitar work. The guitars carry the melody as much as, or even more than, the vocals—striking a balance between instrumental and vocal-driven music.

M-4. “A New Picture”

KOIAI’s most aggressive song to date, featuring metalcore-style riffs contrasted with a moody, hip-hop-inspired vibe.

M-5. “My Breath”
Lyrics: Kotono / Composition: Hazuki
A rare fast-paced tune for KOIAI, full of drive and energy. Featuring Billy Sheehan on bass and Shane Gaalaas on drums.

Biography
KOIAI was formed in December 2022 by Li-sa-X (guitar), Hazuki (guitar), and Kotono (vocals). Their music fuses pop, rock, and dance elements. In February 2023, even before releasing any official recordings, they performed at India’s Oddball Festival, sharing the stage with acts such as The Aristocrats and Bloodywood across three cities.
