The COWBOY BEBOP series is one of the most iconic works by director Shinichiro Watanabe and composer Yoko Kanno.
The first soundtrack won the "Animation Album of the Year" at the 13th Japan Gold Disc Awards.
Legendary sound engineer Rudy Van Gelder, who worked with Miles Davis and John Coltrane, also participated in the production.
The opening theme "Tank!" has become one of the most recognized pieces from the series.
Throughout the show, the music spans a vast range of genres—from jazz and rock to drum’n’bass and French pop—demonstrating a level of musicality that remains top-class even today.
